FAIR PHOTOS: From bull riders to wool princesses

Photos from the 2012 Madison County Fair

Entrants in the Guys & Gals Lead for 6- to 8-year-olds pose with their lambs as they await the results: (from left) Alexis Hagler, who won the blue ribbon; Natalie Lauren Lindsey, and Sidney Payton.

It was all smiles for the Hagler sisters of Miami Trace as they showed off their ribbons following the Guy & Gals Lead competition held July 12. Alexis won her blue ribbon in the 6- to 8-year-old class; she is a member of the Clover Buds Pigs & Things 4H Club. Emma placed second in the 3- to 5-year-old class.

Gage Gay, 17, of North Carolina sits atopTom Tom on his way to a second-place finish in the bull riding competition.

Beau Caplinger of Circleville has his hands full during his first-round ride on a bull namedHip Hop. He placed fourth.

Theres nothing quite like a trip down the fun slide!

Kyle Bennett, 15, a sophomore at London High School, gets some good air time.

Colton Harris, 5, of Brookville, Ohio, enjoys the rodeo from one of the best seats in the house.

Sara Ballaver traveled from Hamilton, Ohio, to take first place in the ladies barrell racing event at this years Madison County Fair rodeo.
