The Pickerington Lions Club will hold its 61st annual Labor Day parade and fish fry Sept. 7 in downtown Pickerington.
The parade will begin at 9:45 a.m. with a "Cruise-by" of vintage cars and motorcycles. The rest of the parade will begin at 10 a.m., while the fish fry begins at 11:30 a.m. at Victory Park. The fish fry will last until the fish runs out at around 4 p.m.
The theme of the parade is "Friends for Life" honoring the 75th anniversary of fire protection in the Pickerington area.
Fire Chief John Eisel will serve as the Grand Marshal of the parade.
Lineup for the parade begins at 8 a.m. Awards and cash prizes will be given to the best looking entries, based upon overall appearance and attention to theme.

The Bexley Parks and Recreation Department will hold a Labor Day Block Party Sept. 6 at Jeffrey Mansion.
The event will include food, activities and music.
