City and chamber to host job fair

The city of Grove City and the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce have partnered to sponsor a spring Grove City Job Fair.

The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on May 24, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 3320 Columbus St. in Grove City.

“Last fall we had the first ever job fair with excellent results for our businesses and attendees, we look forward to increased success this year, said Bill Diehl, chamber executive director.

More than 40 employers with staffing needs are gearing up to meet with job seekers. Experienced advisors will be available to discuss resume-writing and employability tips.

“We look forward to another successful event and to continue this important work with the chamber, said Mayor RichardIke Stage.Local job fairs provide a tremendous economic opportunity for both our citizens and businesses.
