Grove Citys annual Blast at Beulah is set to light up the night from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. June 30 at Beulah Park, 3811 Southwest Blvd.
Patrons can enjoy free, live entertainment from regional favorite, These Guys Live. Activities are planned for children by Grove City Parks and Recreation and T.W.I.G. 184 beginning at 6 p.m. Fireworks start at approximately 10 p.m.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. A variety of foods can be purchased onsite. Coolers and other carry-in items are subject to searches and tailgating is not permitted in the paved parking areas. Personal fireworks, alcohol and pop-up canopies are prohibited. Pets, other than service dogs, are not permitted in the venue.
Attendees may walk in for free at the Park Street entrance; there is a $5 fee to park in the Beulah Park lot.
“The Blast at Beulah is our opportunity to celebrate as a community, our freedom and the gifts that have been given to us as a nation, said Mayor RichardIke Stage.
A special ceremony honoring military personnel will start at 8:30 p.m. Veterans and active-duty armed service members should reserve a spot by calling 277-3015 by June 28. There will be plenty of special seating, handicapped parking and assistance for the mobility impaired.
