Animal shelter holding bowling fundraiser


New Beginnings Animal Shelter is hosting a fundraising event called "Pins for Pets" from 1 to 4 p.m. March 19 at Sequoia Lanes, 5501 Sandalwood Blvd., Columbus. Tickets are $13, which includes shoe rental. There also will be 50/50 drawings, raffles and prizes, with proceeds going to the animals at the shelter. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
