This year’s inductees into the West Jefferson Athletic Hall of Fame are Vince Baker (left), Class of 1977; Craig Brenneman (center), Class of 1982; and Beth Michelfelder, Class of 1993, represented by her sister Kristi Michelfelder (right). They were introduced at West Jefferson’s football game against Mechanicsburg.

West Jefferson’s quarterback D.J. Gray attempts to split the defense of the Mechanicsburg Indians on his way to another gain in the first quarter. Gray ended the game as the leading rusher with 115 yards on 21 attempts and one touchdown. Gray also added 103 yards passing with five completions on 15 attempts and two touchdowns.

West Jefferson’s Chaney Fulton chases Mechanicsburg quarterback Alex Huffman. Fulton tackled Huffman for a loss on the play.

With Mechanicsburg defender Austin Millidge holding on, West Jefferson’s Ryan Love crosses the goal line after catching a 31-yard pass from D.J. Gray.

Sean Prather lowers his shoulders, looking for more yardage against Mechanicsburg. Prather ended the game with 66 yards on nine carries for West Jefferson.
