FREY (RAMEY)
Beverly Ann (Ramey) Frey, 71, of London died July 22 in Doctors Hospital West, Columbus, following a courageous 25-year battle with cancer. Bev was born on Oct. 29, 1938, in London.
For 27 years, she worked as the registrar at the Madison County Health Department, retiring in 1996. She was a past president, vice president and member of the board of directors for the Madison County Historical Society and was past president of the Madison County Cancer Society, where she helped to organize the Relay for Life in Madison County.
Funeral services were held July 25 in Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, London. Memorial contribu-tions may be made to the Madison County Historical Society.
EVANS
Gerald J. “Jerry” Evans, 50, died July 16. He was a 1978 graduate of Dublin High School, was in the automotive industry for 30 years, and was an affiliate of the Catholic Church.
Graveside inurment service was held July 28 in Jerome Township Cemetery. The family was served by Rader-Lynch and Dodds Funeral Home.
BALL
Joseph Allen Ball, 50, of London died July 23 in The Ohio State University Hospital East. He was born in Columbus on Nov. 21, 1959, a son of James Robert Sr. and Linna (Green) Ball.
Joseph was a member of H.V. Christopher Post 1176, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rader-Lynch and Dodds Funeral Home, London. Memorials may be made to the funeral home.
SCOTT
Deveill Scott, 41, of Springfield died July 23 in Miami Valley Medical Center, Dayton. Born on March 6, 1969, in London, he was a son of Joan Scott and Joe Wilson. Deveill was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of the Springfield Pool League. Funeral services were held July 24 in Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, London. Memorials may be made to the funeral home.
SNYDER
Martha J. Snyder, 82, of Mount Sterling died July 24 in her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug. 16, 1927, in Fayette County, Ohio, a daughter of William and Celanda (Crawford) Holcomb. Martha was a member of London Chapter 386, Order of the Eastern Star, and volunteered at the Madison County Hospital and Meals on Wheels. She was a dedicated fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and attended the Madison County Senior Citizen Day Care, where she became like family. Martha received wonderful care at home from Loving Care of London and was so appreciative to have received special care from Dr. Robinette Huston and her nurse Rachel. A celebration of Martha’s life was held July 28 at Rader-Lynch and Dodds Funeral Home, London. Memorial contributions may be made to Madison County Senior Day Care or Loving Care Hospice.
REDDING
Rosalyn A. Redding, 79, of London died July 25 in her home. She was born in London on Oct. 30, 1930, a daughter of Hartford and Mary (Reid) Bennett. Rosalyn was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia and was a Rosary leader. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 30 at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to Loving Care Hospice. The family was served by Rader-Lynch and Dodds Funeral Home, London.
SHANNON
Robert L. Shannon, 82, of London died July 27 in Sisters on Elm Street in London. Born on Aug. 16, 1927, in Hocking County, Ohio, he was a son of Eli and Lulumae (Tucker) Shannon. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Bob was a former lineman for Ohio Edison. Services were conducted July 31 at Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, London.
