Garden tour ready to bloom

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon visiting some of the finest gardens in the Grove City area at the 18th annual Jo Bostic Memorial Garden Tour on July 11, from 1-5 p.m.

This self-guided tour, hosted by Keep Grove City Beautiful and the city of Grove City, starts at the Gardens at Gantz Farm, 2255 Home Road. Participants will receive a program and map to guide them to the beautiful gardens at the six private homes on the tour.

The variety of gardens will heighten your senses with wonderful displays of color and fragrance. This year's gardens include a putting green, formal gardens, a garden with over 50 hostas and daylilies, a Zen garden, shade gardens and more. Tickets can be purchased the day of the tour at the Gardens at Gantz Farm and at each of the individual garden locations on the tour. Tickets are $5 for the general public and $3 for seniors (60 years and up); children 12 and under are free.

Tour addresses will be posted on the Grove City website beginning July 6. For more information, call the Grove City Service Department at 277-1100 or visit www.grovecityohio.gov.
