Fund-raiser will help with funeral expenses

Michael Gram, 26, died March 5 in Lilly Chapel in a traffic accident. His family does not have life insurance.

Friends and family will hold a fund-raiser on March 14 to raise money for funeral expenses. The event is set for 7 to 9 p.m. at Skate America on Harrisburg Pike in Grove City (614-875-7606). Admission is $4, all of which will go to the funeral home. Skate rental is $2.50 for regular skates or $4 for inline or speed skates; the skate rental money stays with Skate America. Organizers plan to sell raffle prizes.

Gram was born on Oct. 31, 1983, in Columbus, the son of David and Shelly Gram. He liked to shoot all types of guns, fish, and ride motorcycles and four-wheelers. Survivors include his parents from Bellefontaine; brother Chris and his wife, Karressa, Gram of Centerburg and their children, Kevah, Kaylon and Cohen; grandmothers, Jo Ann Gram of Columbus and Letha Willett of Plain City; grandfather Gordon Moore of Plain City; great-grandmothers Mildred Houck of Columbus and Florence Johnson of Bowling Green; and several aunts, uncles and friends.
