Here 8-year-old Trevor Evans drew a tough opponent in 13-year-old Anthony Vennitti for the first round of the Grove City Parks and Recreation's first ever Guitar Hero Tournament held Feb. 20 at the Evans Senior Center. While the Highland Park Elementary student took best outfit honors with his leather pants and black wig, Vennitti rocked his way through the field to claim the top spot and the $50 prize.

Here 9-year-old Todd Sullivan (in the black hat) and 11-year-old Nathan Cox faced off in round one of the first Grove City Parks and Recreation's Guitar Hero Tournament, held Feb. 20 at the Evans Senior Center. After hitting note after note, Nathan Cox came out on top and made his to the final round before falling to 13-year-old Anthony Vennitti.

- The last two guitar heroes standing in the Feb. 20 tournament sponsored by the Grove City Parks and Recreation's Department were 11-year-old Nathan Cox (in black) and 13-year-old Anthony Vennitti. They rocked their way through the final two songs matching notes as high as 99 percent before Vennitti took the crown and $50 prize.

| Brothers, Nicholas (10) and Anthony Vennitti (13) faced off in the semi finals of the first Guitar Hero Tournament. The win went to the older Vennitti brother as did the championship, while Nicholas won honors for best head-to-head competition. |
