MASON
Esther J. Mason, 61, of Mount Sterling died Jan. 12 at the OSU Medical Center, Columbus. She was born Feb. 15, 1948, in London. She was a bookkeeper for the Madison County Clerk of Courts; 1966 graduate of Plains High School in Mount Sterling; loved to travel, especially enjoying her trips to the Grand Canyon; and researched family genealogy. A memorial service was held Jan. 16 at Mount Sterling First Church of the Nazarene, 226 N. Market St. The family was served by Porter-Tidd Funeral Home in Mount Sterling.
DINGUS
Alfred Dingus, 83, of London died Jan. 12 at his residence. He was born July 28, 1926, in Dickenson County, Va. He was the son of the late Fred and Alice (McCoy) Dingus. A funeral service was held Jan. 15 at Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, Mount Sterling.
HATFIELD
Robert L. Hatfield, 81, of Mount Sterling died Jan. 14 at his residence. He was born March 25, 1928, in Mount Sterling (Monroe Township), Pickaway County, Ohio. He was a lifetime area farmer and served on the Zoning Board in Monroe Township. He served in the U.S. Army. A funeral service was held Jan. 20 at Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, Mount Sterling. Memorial contributions may be given to Five Points United Methodist Church or Loving Care Hospice in London.
