Southeastern Chamber Expo set for Jan. 29

The Southeastern Franklin County Chamber of Commerce will hold its 10th annual Chamber Business Expo and Dinner on Jan. 29 from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Berwick Party House, 3250 Refugee Road, Columbus.
"We've added more vendor spaces for 2010 and welcome area businesses to participate," said Southeastern Franklin County Chamber Executive Director Susan Brobst. "This is an affordable way to promote your business and network with other businesses and community members right in your own backyard."
Vendor information
Vendor tables for the event are available to non-chamber businesses in the Southeast Franklin County area. Set up on Jan. 29 will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and the Expo will be open to the public from 4:30-7 p.m.
Businesses interested in securing a vendor table should contact the chamber office via e-mail at chambersefc@aol.com or phone/fax (614) 836-1138. Cost for the vendor: 4 foot table - $85; and 6 foot table - $110. All vendors are asked to provide a giveaway at their vendor table, and may collect business cards/names from those attending. For details or reservations, contact the chamber office. Space is limited.
Dinner following is by reservation only and cost is an additional $35 per person.
Businesses and the public invited
Brobst encourages all businesses and the public in the area to attend the event.
"It's a great experience. The past two years attendance has averaged 375 for this event," said Brobst. "The public and area businesses are encouraged to attend this free event and learn more about what the Southeastern Franklin County Chamber of Commerce has to offer."
Business Word Search puzzle
Back again this year is the "Business Word Search" puzzle contest featuring names of Chamber businesses where the winner will be eligible to win a cash prize. (The word search appears in the Southeast Messenger.)
Completed word searches must be turned in at the Expo by 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 29. You must be age 18 or older to enter and only one entry per person will be accepted. The winner will be drawn from the correctly completed and verified submitted word search forms.

"Our mission is to promote area businesses to the community and to each other and support them in any way possible," said Brobst.
The Southeastern Chamber includes businesses in Groveport, Obetz, Southeastern Franklin County, Madison Township, Hamilto29n Township, and the Rickenbacker area.
