Two checks, totaling $16,200, were recently presented to LifeCare Alliance representatives for the Meals on Wheels program at the E.L. Evans Center.
The city of Grove City donated $15,000 from two annual fund raisers: the Mayor's Cup Golf Outing and Mud Volleyball Tournament. An additional $1,200 was donated by Gene Zorich, the on-site hot meal coordinator at the center, as part of the month-long white elephant sale, featuring a variety of items donated by seniors and the Grove City community.
LifeCare Alliance has provided daily lunches at the Center for more than 25 years.
