Whitehall Recreation plans all treats, no tricks this fall
Whitehall Parks and Recreation is gearing up for fall activities, including things that go bump in the night.
As a Beggar's Night alternative, the parks department is partnering with City of Refuge Baptist Church to host Fall Festival at John Bishop Park, October 31 between 6-8 p.m.
Activities will be similar to the annual Family Fun Day. It will offer wholesome family fun, including games, entertainment and food.
The event was formerly held at Whitehall Baptist Church, and was so well- attended it outgrew the church facility. Park and Recreation Director Terry Gee is hoping this will be a good time for families in a safe environment. For more information, contact Darrell Hammock at 453-5556.
