Library closure begins Oct. 21
The Westland Area Library, 4740 W. Broad St., is tentatively scheduled to be closed for repairs from Oct. 21-23. The tower on the building will be removed and replaced with a cap in order to fix leaks that have been a problem for over fifteen years. These repairs will be paid for by the owners of the Lincoln Village Shopping Center, at no cost to the library. Dates for closure could change because the construction schedule will be dictated by weather. Library patrons should call the Westland Area Library at 878-1301 on the above dates to determine whether the library is open.
