Festival of Friends
The 12th annual Friends For Life Animal Haven "Festival of Friends" will be held June 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Canal Winchester High School, 300 Washington St. There will be food, games, and a silent auction. Pets on leashes are welcome.

Winchester Steel performs
The Winchester Steel Co., Canal Winchester High School's steel drum band, announced its summer concert schedule:
•June 26 - morning services, David United Church of Christ, Canal Winchester.
•July 28, 2 p.m. - Rising Park, Lancaster, at the Lancaster Arts Festival.
•Aug. 12, 6:30 p.m., Columbus Zoo Amphitheater, at the Columbus Jazz Orchestra JazZoo Series.
•Aug. 14, morning services, David Lutheran Church, Canal Winchester.

CWAHS golf outing
The seventh annual Canal Winchester Area Historical Society golf outing will be June 10 at Pine Hill Golf Course, 4382 Kauffman Road, Carroll. The event is a four person scramble with shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Registration at 8 a.m. Cost is $65 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, gift bag, prizes and steak dinner at club house. Other featuresinclude a putting contest, a hole in one prize, and raffle. Sponsorships available for holes, hole-in-one prizes, dinner, teams, prizes, raffle, and gift bags.

To register, send a check payable to CWAHS for $65 per person to the Canal Winchester Area Historical Society, P.O. Box 15, Canal Winchester, OH 43110. The event is a fundraiser for the CWAHS and proceeds are used to help maintain the O.P. Chaney Elevator, Prentiss School, the Queen of the Line Train Depot, and Barber Museum.

Masons serve breakfast
The Craft Club of South Gate Potter Masonic Lodge, 651 Groveport Road, Canal Winchester will serve breakfast from 7-11 a.m. the second Saturday each month. A donation of $5 per meal will enable the Craft Club to continue in their efforts to assist the disadvantaged in the Canal Winchester area.

Hopeful Hearts
Hope United Methodist Church, 83 E. Columbus St. in Canal Winchester, will sponsor a free baby clothing distribution for sizes 0-5T, known as Hopeful Hearts, from 10 a.m. to noon on the fourth Saturday of each month. Donations accepted. For information call (614) 837-7548.
