Tomato Festival announces sponsors
A revitalized and relocated Reynoldsburg Tomato Festival is drawing some big names to its list of sponsors this year.
The event - Friday night, Aug. 14 and all day Saturday, Aug. 15 - will be presented by Heartland Bank at Huber Park. Heartland has committed to being the presenting sponsor for the next three years.
The festival features continuous entertainment, the Tomato Queen Pageant, an arts and crafts show, lots of good food, inflatable games for children and many more activities for the whole family. Also sponsoring the 2009 Festival at various levels are WOW!, The Basement Doctor and Scotts MiracleGro.
Fishers Gardens is sponsoring NBC4 TV personality Tom McNutt to serve as the celebrity judge for the Tomato Exhibit Contest. The event includes categories for smallest, largest, best arranged, best of show and more. McNutt also will be broadcasting live from the festival Saturday morning, Aug. 15.
Opportunities for sponsorship are still available along with advertising space in the festival program. Admission and parking for the 44th Annual Reynoldsburg Tomato Festival are free.
