Reynoldsburg Civil War encampment is June 27
The sixth annual Reynoldsburg Civil War Encampment will be held June 27 with a morning and afternoon re-enactment at Civic Park on Daugherty Drive in Reynoldsburg.
A Military Ball will be held in conjunction with the re-enactment Saturday night. Those who wish to participate in the ball are encouraged to arrive in period costume.
The camp will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In addition to artillery and infantry, the event will include six to 10 mounted cavalry. Re-enactors playing Civil War surgeons will look after the wounded arter each battle, with amputations and dressing wounds.
