| Students from the classes of Mrs. Cline and Mr. Trout at Groveport Madison High School are shown here with boxes of items they collected such as toiletries, canned goods and toys to send to the troops in Iraq. Items were gathered in the name of Dustin Derga, who was killed in action on May 8, 2008, and are being sent to Jonathan Davis of Pickerington who is on his third tour of duty. Davis whose cousin, Kelsie Marburger, is in the freshman class, will distribute the toys and school supplies to Iraqi children. American Legion Post 283 is paying for shipping. |
