CARTER
Linda Ann Carter, 54, of Sedalia died May 2 in her sister’s residence following a short illness. Born on June 1, 1953, in Marysville, Ohio, she was a daughter of Burel K. and Anna Lee (Puckett) Carter. She was employed as a computer programmer for IBM in Columbus for the past 35 years. She attended Mount Sterling Apostolic Gospel Church.  Funeral services were conducted May 6 in Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, London. Memorial contributions can be made to the Susan B. Komen Foundation or Madison County Home Health and Hospice.

HOOVER
Betty Hoover, 57, of London died May 2 in her residence. Born on Oct. 29, 1950, in Martins Ferry, she was a daughter of George and Tersa (Brookover) Kinsey. Betty had been a shift manager at Donatos Pizza in London. Funeral services were held May 5 in Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, London.

McCLASKIE/THALER
Marjorie McClaskie Thaler, 86, died May 2 at her home after a short illness. She was born on Oct. 1, 1921, in Madison County to Caroline (Gibson) and Lon Rigsby. She was very proud of the many hours she spent as a volunteer for Madison County Hospital. Funeral services were conducted May 7 in Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, London. Memorial contributions may be made to Loving Care Hospice or to Newport United Methodist Church.
