| Members of Boy Scout Troop 71 of Groveport conducted a flag retirement ceremony in Groveport Park on May 4. Worn out, faded, and tattered American flags were retired in a ceremonial fire. The next flag retirement ceremony will be held Oct. 4 at 4:30 p.m. in Groveport Park. The public is invited to bring any flag of the United States that needs to be properly retired. You may also drop off a flag to be retired at the Groveport Recreation Center. For information call Kyle Lund at 836-1000 or Roy Arnett at 836-8056. |
