Pulling for great test week

Noah Birchfield (left) and Owen Thomas (orange shirt) join their fourth-grade classmates as they challenge another class at Madison Rural Elementary in a tug-of-war contest on the front lawn of the school on April 18. Principal Linda Nier has used this event for the last six years to build enthusiasm for upcoming tests. The school has 230 students.
