On April 14, Bishop Ready freshman Katie Ardrey (above) pitched a two-hitter to give the Silver Knights a 5-0 win over Jonathan Alder’s Pioneers. She threw eight strikeouts with only one walk; offensively, she hit a triple that drove in two runs. The victory marked Ardrey’s first full varsity game. Two days prior, she pitched two games in relief against Heath and Dublin Coffman. The three back-to-back victories brought Bishop Ready’s overall record to 7-2. Below, junior Kayla Goodberlet makes a run for third base. She drove in one run in the first inning and made it home for another run in the third inning.
