Victoria Nelson, a 2006 Madison-Plains High School graduate, keeps her eye on the ball during the first Madison-Plains Alumni Softball Game held March 29. At the end of the game, the scoreboard showed 7-7. The first-time event—played for fun with some competitive moments, too—promises to become an annual get-together.

Some Madison-Plains alumni found their way back to the softball diamond for a March 29 match-up with current Madison-Plains varsity and junior varsity players. Here, 1991 graduate Ce Ce (Mace) Long connects to drive in two runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game at 6-6.
