According to the American Environmental Health and Safety, choking and drowning are the leading cause of death among children and over 16 million children to the emergency room every year.
CPR classes are offered at Madison County Hospital for the public and healthcare providers. The seminar is open to the first 25 participants, so it is advised to call and make a reservation early.

“Most golfers take the physical aspects of the game for granted,” Zeigler said, “However, the injury rate is very high, especially if they do not have a preseason strengthening program or a pre-game stretching routine.”

In the seminar, participants will learn flexibility and strengthening exercises. Men and women of all ages can benefit from core strengthening of the back, torso, leg and shoulder muscles which are used to swing a golf club. Most flexibility exercises can be done without extra equipment, other than a golf cart or club.
