Peanut Butter Cornflake Cookies

I used to make these by the hundreds when I was a school cook.
PEANUT BUTTER CORNFLAKE COOKIES
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
4 cups cornflakes
Place the corn syrup and sugar in a pan over medium heat. When it comes to a rolling boil, remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Then, stir in the cornflakes. Use a tablespoon to drop the mixture on waxed paper. Let cool before serving. These cookies can be refrigerated to speed up the setting process.
