Foolproof Fudge

I really like this recipe because it's easy and quick to make. It sets up, cuts and stores well. For people who like Million Dollar Fudge, this recipe can be made with milk chocolate tidbits and it's very similar in taste and texture, but so much easier!

FOOLPROOF FUDGE
18 ounces chocolate chips (semi-sweet and/or dark)
One 14-ounce can condensed milk (not evaporated)
Dash of salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Melt chocolate chips with milk in heavy pan. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in wax paper-lined 8x8 pan. Chill two to three hours. Turn onto cutting board and peel off wax paper. Store in covered pan at room temperature. (I refrigerate it because it gets soft.)
