The Hilltop Kiwanis Club will host its annual silent auction from 11 a.m. to noon on Dec. 6 at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 1100 S. Hague Ave. Its live auction and Christmas newspaper sale will follow, with lunch included. All proceeds go back into the community in the form of scholarships, crime prevention and donated to non-profit organizations. Volunteers will sale papers door-to-door at 10 a.m. on Dec. 8.
