The London Visual Arts Guild is holdings its annual silent art auction at Gallery On High, 5 E. High St., London, through Nov. 26. The auction will end at 8 p.m. that night, during London’s Old Fashioned Christmas celebration.

Pieces range from paintings and quilted wall hangings to ceramics and jewelry.

Proceeds will help to offset the gallery’s operation costs in 2013. The auction is an opportunity to buy original art for holiday gifts.

Gallery On High is open Thursday 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday 5-8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, go to londonvisualartsguild.org.
