The Central Ohio Beekeepers Association (COBA) will hold its beginning beekeeping classes on Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28 from  6:30-9 p.m. at the OSU Waterman Farm Complex. Classes will also be held on March 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Franklin Park Conservatory. A hands on demonstration will be scheduled for April. Topics include “Getting Started,” “Bee Biology,” “Colony Management” and “Laws and “Regulations.” Cost is $50 per person, additional family members $10 each. Fee includes textbook, handouts and one year family membership in COBA. A scholarship program is available for students ages 13-18.
