Reynoldsburg PD looking for thief
The Reynoldsburg Division of Police is seeking information to assist in identifying a suspect who committed theft of a credit card(s).
On the morning of Oct. 11, an unknown individual stole a purse out of a locked car. Later that morning Speedway Surveillance videos shows a light skinned black male, with a thin mustache and goatee wearing a long sleeved gray shirt and black pants, entered several Speedway Gas Stations in the Whitehall area and used the stolen credit card to purchase Speedway gift cards, according to a Reynoldsburg Police Department news release.
These cards in turn were later used at other Speedway stores in the Columbus area by several unknown individuals for general purchases. It is believed that the gift cards are being sold for less than face value to individuals, according to the release. This male is also believed to be doing the same crimes in the Gahanna and Worthington areas.
