Fred Tompkins, Gary Baker, Ronnie Morris, Andre Atchison, John Lowry, Impearl Carreker, Kathy Hoke, Jerry McClaskey, State Rep. Michael Stinziano and Lisa Boggs at the 15th annual Friends of the Hilltop Beautification Awards Ceremony Aug. 14 at the Hilltop Senior Village. Eleven commercial honorees were recognized for making a difference in the Hilltop through special efforts to beautify the Hilltop community with attractive and well maintained landscaping. Friends of the Hilltop also presented the first Karen Whitman Hilltop, USA Award at the Beautification Awards Ceremony to Fred Tompkins and Annete Jefferson. Both of these individuals have exemplary records of serving the Hilltop for more than a decade.
